Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of ArcNest, including its website, applications, study tools, collaboration features, and related services. By creating an account or using ArcNest, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use ArcNest in your location. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent, that consent must be obtained before use.

Provide accurate account information.
Keep your credentials confidential.
Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Do not sell or transfer your account.

3. The service

ArcNest helps students organize notes, tasks, projects, files, flashcards, quizzes, study activity, collaboration, and AI-assisted workflows. Features may change as the product develops.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ArcNest a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and back up that content only as needed to provide and secure the service.

You are responsible for having permission to upload and share your content.

5. Collaboration

Shared content may be viewed, edited, copied, or downloaded depending on the permissions you choose. Review access settings before sharing sensitive information.

6. AI features

AI-generated summaries, quizzes, flashcards, and plans may be incomplete or incorrect. Review important output and follow your school’s rules concerning AI-assisted work.

ArcNest does not guarantee academic results or that generated content will be accepted by an educational institution.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use ArcNest to:

Break the law or violate another person’s rights.
Upload malware or disrupt the service.
Access systems or accounts without authorization.
Harass, impersonate, deceive, or spam others.
Bypass limits or resell the service without permission.

8. Plans and payments

ArcNest may offer free, monthly, and yearly plans. Paid plans renew according to the interval shown at checkout unless cancelled before renewal. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the paid billing period.

ArcNest may also offer a non-renewing 30-day Plus pass for a single payment of USD $5.99, plus any tax shown at checkout. It provides Plus access for 30 days from activation and then expires automatically. It is not a subscription, creates no future renewal charge, and there is nothing to cancel.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Its checkout, payment, refund, and privacy terms also apply.

Paid Plus purchases are generally non-refundable once their paid access period begins. You may request a review for an accidental renewal, duplicate charge, unauthorized charge, or serious service failure through the ArcNest refund-review form. Signed-in users can first check account usage signals at Refund eligibility. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund. Lemon Squeezy may also issue refunds or handle chargebacks under its own policies.

A subscription may be eligible for a refund review only when Premium benefits have not been meaningfully used during the period being reviewed. Meaningful Premium use includes more than three successful AI generations in a calendar day in ArcNest's app time zone (Asia/Jerusalem), storage usage above the 100 MB free-plan allowance, or any successful OpenAI Canvas generation using the Plus-only provider option during that period. Deleting generated content later does not erase the generation event. Cosmetic theme choices are not treated as meaningful Premium use. Meeting these conditions does not guarantee a refund.

Deleting an output does not erase its Premium-use event while the account remains active. Account deletion is not a subscription cancellation and is not a refund request. You must cancel renewal before deleting an account and submit any refund request separately before deletion, using the Lemon Squeezy order number shown on the receipt.

When an account is deleted, ArcNest removes its profile, study files, generated content, support contacts and email threads, classmate and sharing permissions, checkout confirmations, and linked billing and aggregate usage records from ArcNest's database and storage. Lemon Squeezy, email providers, and other processors may retain the records they control under their own policies and legal obligations.

Before checkout, you must confirm the selected price and billing interval, automatic renewal, these Terms, and the refund-review policy. ArcNest records the policy version and confirmation time with the checkout for support and dispute records.

9. Availability

We aim to keep ArcNest reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, provider failures, and events beyond our control may affect availability.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using ArcNest or permanently delete your account from Settings. You must cancel any active subscription renewal before account deletion becomes available. Account deletion removes the account and study data; it does not cancel an active renewal for you. We may restrict access for serious violations, security risks, legal obligations, non-payment, or harm to other users.

Permanent deletion also removes ArcNest-held support contacts, sharing permissions, checkout confirmations, linked billing records, and aggregate Premium-usage evidence. Submit billing or refund requests before deletion. Records controlled by Lemon Squeezy or an email provider are governed by that provider's own policies.

Deleting an account does not change charges already made or the outcome of a pending refund or payment dispute.

11. Disclaimers

ArcNest is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee specific grades, academic outcomes, productivity improvements, or uninterrupted service.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ArcNest and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the service.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms as ArcNest develops or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.

14. Questions and disputes

If you experience a problem with ArcNest, your account, or a subscription, please contact us first so we can understand the issue and try to resolve it fairly.

These Terms are intended to explain how ArcNest works and what users can expect from the service. They do not remove any rights that may apply under applicable law. Nothing in the refund or account-deletion terms limits any right that cannot legally be limited or waived.
